Artifacts have been discovered and analyzed that reveal amazing fibers, dyes, intricate patterns and age.
The Overshot Technique dating from oldest available search, stops at the18th Century. The possibly of this technique is much older but without substantial positive proof, only a summarization that this intricate pattern has been passed down to family members that wove for needs and pleasure. The Overshot Pattern Technique is an additional time consuming step to help secure threads of complicated patterns created by artistic weavers of the past.
